    hello, i need some help.

i filmed a wedding for my friend as a favor i didnt ask for money. thankfully. what happened is when i finished capturing the footage and transfered the data to my mac i created a folder, then in the folder I added the footage so all in all i added 5 different folders within one folder, i renamed each captured folder 1 – 4 except the last which i kept as the defalt name which was BVAP. When it came to viewing the footage this is where the problem occured. the 4 folders named 1 – 4 they have all the footage there but i cant view it. however i can view the folder with the defalt name BVAP. does anyone have any idea how i can view the footage from the 4 other folders, do i need to change file names??

    thanks

    Never rename BPAV folders.
You can create a parent folder for each BPAV folder.

    Easy.

    Make folders projectname-1,projectname-2…,3….,4

Copy each of the folders u renamed into 1,2,3,4 respectively.
Rename those folders back to BPAV in their respective 1,2,3,4 folders.

Your software should read them now. Next time.. dont do that again.. just copy the entire BPAV folder into each individual folder.

Its never too late to learn. We only have until we die.

BPAV in separate folders. You should NEVER do otherwise. Clip Browser does this automatically. It creates a folder using a time stamp and places the BPAV in it. Each BPAV is in a time stamped parent folder.

I will keep repeating this until it appears on every search engine.
USE CLIP BROWSER (turn CRC checking on)
If not Clip Browser than buy Shot Put.
