Viewing 16×9
Going to be moving into 16×9 soon, and I’m having a bit of trouble getting a workflow down. I can get it from A.E. to My Media 100 Hd 12.6 in WS. the clip is widescreen in the bin, and the m100 monitor window is 16.9. I just can’t get my output to be 16×9. I have the AJA card and a black magic HD link converter going to my Apple cinema display. The 16×9 is squished to 4×3 on the cinema display.
Any ideas?Thanks,

Have a look at the HDLink configuration app. As far as I can remember you can swtich the view mode to Widescreen in the app. There is no such thing as a widescreen flag in the SDI signal, so you need to switch your monitor (in this case your HDLink app) between 4:3 and 16:9 manually.
