  • viewer and canvas settings in DV timeline

I have switched from my usual HDV operating use in FCP 7 to editing some old DV NTSC footage. I am noticing the viewer and canvas display a very small DV image, about one sixth of the screen set at 25%. All my import and sequence settings are DV NTSC (3:2) 720 x 480. Is it normal to see such small image, or do I need to adjust the viewer and canvas sizes to 50%? Any thoughts are most welcome. Thanks in advance.

Is normal if the canvas is set to something like 25%.
Set “Fit to window” and will fit the screen. For better quality display, set it at 100%.
