    This must be so obvious I’ll be embarrassed by the answer, but here goes:

    For a chroma key compositing project, I’d like to be able to see the Quicktime source footage’s original time code inside After Effects. There must be a switch but I sure can’t see it.

    The only way I have figured out is to use Effects/Text/Timecode, and manually input the clip’s starting timecode. But I’d think that AE could read Quicktime’s “camera timecode” rather than simply starting each clip at frame 1.
