  • View node output, not output image

I’d like to view the output of nodes on an individual basis. It would be nice to be able to toggle between that and viewing the output image (the default).

I know that breaking the node chain (having any nodes without input or output connections) can enable this, but it’s not an efficient way to work. I think I’ve inadvertently triggered this mode in the past, but I can’t figure out how to replicate my results.

    Is this possible?

what if you enable only the desired nodes?

    Not what I’m looking for.

Seeing the grade up to a node is more useful because it lets me decide what I want to patch into the layer mixer.

Enable highlight on the node you want to view, and it will show you the grade up to that node. Turn off highlight to see the result of the entire tree.

If you have a qualifier or a window on that node, add a node after it then highlight.

In v8, weren’t you able to double click a node to view its out put and single click another node to modify?

I just checked this is on a lite version v9, and it currently doesn’t appear to work… but maybe that’s the Lite speaking?

    I may also be mis-remembering…
