I have a 24 page docuement for a calendar. Each 2 pages is a month and has “Keep Spread together”. I hit Alt Ctrl 0 on page 1-2 to fit spread, got to 3-4 hit lt Ctrl 0, and when I go back to 1-2 the right edge is cut off again. Why can’t InDesign remeber the positon of my spread, the magnifiacation is remebered. Thsi is really annoyin as I am going between pages often and have to hit ALt Ctrl ) over and over.

If you use Alt-Page Up (or Page Down…Option instead of Alt on the Mac) you can scroll through the spreads while maintaining the zoom level…instead of having to navigate to the spread, fit in window and jump back. Of course, you can only scroll through the spreads in order, but you can jump directly to the first or the last spread by adding Shift to the combinations above. Hope that helps speed up the monotony some.

It’s not perfect, I know…but it should cut out several steps when jumping around. Glad to help!
