    Bottom center of the timeline window. If you’ve got a selection it tells you there… 🙂

    You can also select a clip (press C) then ctrl-D to view duration in the timecode window. It’s a little easier to see and you can change the duration by entering a numeric value.

    for me that had been the case; today for whatever reason ive noticed regardless of where i click it just lists total duration and project settings; any thoughts or should i try to start trashing preferences and the like?
