    hello ppl

ok i have a DVD of a gig and iam soon recieving the audio track on DAT.

ok i was wondering how i could go about editing these formats so i could sync the music to the video. Just need to know if i can import ‘video_ts’ and ‘video_rm’ into premiere pro (my editing software) or whether i even need to?

would i need to convert the rm and ts files to another format to edit them and then export them back to DVD format. If so what sort of settings would i need for my project?

hope this is clear and not to longwinded, cheers ppl!

What you have mentioned above are folders and not actual video files. On DVDs, all video tracks are labeled with the extension “.vob”, that are essentially MPEG files, something Premiere Pro is not too fond of. If you prefer to edit MPEG, please take a look at MainConcept’s MPEG Pro plugin.
