    Hi guys,

I have a small and propably simple to answer question.
I’ve got a 10Bit uncompressed PAL timeline, did a bit of 3-way colorcorrecting and now want to make a broadcastsave tape.
Downside, FCP is outputting the illegal videolevels which were created by intense grading.
When using the Broadcastsafe-filter, it touches all the luminances between 0% and 100%, too, thus rendering the corrections a little bit useless. I want a hard cut on 0% and 100%. Or at least, just bend the upper and lower 3% or so, for not being to extreme, but I don’t want the inbeetween touched. With Broadcastsafe it sometime takes the whole midsection down 20%. That’s not what I want.
So, is there a filter who does just that?
    Preferably something which is free.
I tried the standard-lumakey, but this didn’t really work due to different scales. I can’t feed it with the real luminance.
Does it make sense, what I want?

    Thanks for all your help,

    MatzeHali
