  Videohive controllers question

  Hello, I’m relatively new to AE and I’m currently working on the project and got stuck at controllers for this kind of box, I use alpha mattes (2 groups, 1 group with horizontal shape and 1 with vertical shape) in this case. I did create 2 controllers for X and Y axis to resize the box only to the left and only to the top accordingly but I can’t figure out how to parent the Matte from group 1 to X and 2 to Y for resizing the gap along with the size also. Or should I even use masks in this case? Thank you.
