I am looking to buy a graphics/video card to make Premiere Pro CS6 and After Effects run great on my Mac Pro.

The new Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 looks like it might be really good and at a great price (maybe I’d get an overclocked version with 4GB), but it’s not yet listed on the official approved cards list.

    …any advice or recommendations?

What would be the best cards to consider for Premiere Pro and After Effects on this machine:

Mac Pro 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    16 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 RAM
    Model Identifier: MacPro5,1

    Thanks!

A few different companies are making the overclocked versions of the GTX770 like this one:

    …looks pretty intriguing

I forgot to mention: I am currently running MacOS 10.6.8, so another part of my question is, “is this the best MacOS for Premiere Pro CS6 and After Effects CS6, or should I consider upgrading to a newer MacOS… and then what is the best card that would be compatible with that OS?
