March 19, 2007 at 12:41 pmWell right out of the gate, I don’t see anything similar, as the videoluster site doesn’t seem to work. Seems like the menu bar is similar, but the biggest difference is that VideoCopilot offers fantastic products and informative, current and USEFUL tutorials.

March 19, 2007 at 1:06 pmseems he “borrowed” the “free tutorials” button, but that is about it

March 19, 2007 at 1:57 pmSeems more like an Andrew-Fan-Site … 😉 … but nothing tastes like the original …

March 20, 2007 at 8:55 amHe actually credits Andrew and Aharon and Creative Cow. According to the site he is 21 and has learned AE from the tutorials here.
The only similarites are they both chose the color blue and that they both have used the standard set of artist-type homepage terms on their buttons in generally the same order. Andrew has DVD products to PURCHASE and SUPPORT.

March 20, 2007 at 1:05 pmHe must have seen this topic because the website is changed! Yesterday there where a lot of similiarities he had copied a lot of text from Videocopilot. Also the view tutorials button is changed.
He forgot to change the footer text:
2007 Final Image Inc & Video Luster. All Rights Reserved —>Videoluster site

March 20, 2007 at 7:26 pmI spoke with him and he gladly removed some of the questionable content and he has since updated his site with his own original content.
I do appreciate you pointing this site out, it is important to address things like this.
Best,

It’s a pity that he didn’t take the time to spell Aharon’s surname properly.
