Maybe a stupid question, but im new to the program.
The audio and video tracks seem to be “linked” so if i delete a piece of the audio track, corresponding piece of the video track will be deleted as well. Is there any way to only edit the audio track?

Before you delete, either hit the U key to ungroup, or hit the Ignore Event Grouping button on the toolbar.
