  • Video won’t playback after unknown key hit

Hi, I was adding subtitles to a project yesterday night very late, and I inadvertently hit some key, really don’t know which one, or a combination, that ended up disabling video playback somehow. Meaning that the canevas stays black, whatever I do, while sound is playing, and I still can see clips or sub if I double click on it. Sound is playing fine. If I copy/paste the timeline into a new sequence or project, it’s the same.

    Any idea? Thanks.

    PS: I’m using 5.1.4 on a Macpro and 10.4.11

Edit: It does the same with all (previous) projects I open now.

I think you switched your canvas from image mode to wireframe. In the canvas window at the top there are 3 buttons.Use the right one and set it back to “Image” as well as set the left one to “Fit to window”.

If the problem still exists it should be something deeper than just a simple setting question, I think.
If so try to trash the preferences.
