Hi guys, I have a TV show recorded on minidv which was recorded with plenty of drops (defective camera perhaps?) and too little B-Roll to cover up for them. I’m attaching an example.
The way I’m thinking regarding those frames with issues which simply can’t be cut or covered with another shot is some fancy rotoscoping or cloning images from the previous frames.
However, that’s too much time consuming and I’m also having a hard time getting good results.
Is there another way to try to fix this?
    Thanks,

You can try pt_FrameRestorer. I haven’t tried it from damaged frames, but it did a good job for me when I had to restore missing frames from a 3D render someone supplied me.
