  • Video wall, different content in each screen?

    Hello,

I’m sure this is an easy one but I can’t figure the best way to do it.

So I need to make a wall of about 25 screens, each with a different persons head in it. I have put one clip into the project, then used the replicator to make a 5×5 box. Now is there a quick way to fill the screens with different people?

    Thanks,
    Chris

After looking around, the best idea I have come up with is to make a long video clip in FCP, featuring all of the people, one after the other, on screen for a set number of seconds, then import that into the replicator, and then change the frame start offset so that each box shows a different person.

Is there an easier way than that?

That’s what you need to do if the shots need to be video. If the headshots can be stills, then use an image sequence.

    Thanks Mark,

I ended up using this method to get it done.
