I have a largish project in 1.5 that I’m reducing, I’ve removed all but one sequence and the one sequence only contains a few clips, however many clips in the bin still say they are used in a sequence.

When I try to delete the clips from the project I’m warned they’re in use.

Anyone know if this is fixable?

    Hey Wes,

Have you tried restarting PPro? Maybe that will force a refresh of the
project window? Don’t have any other ideas… I’ll try to do a test
    with a large 1.5 project later…

Hope your summer is going well!

Yes, PPro has been restarted. Thanks for trying. 🙂

    Wes,

I just tried this in PPro 2.0 and the usage updates properly.
I realized however that I don’t have 1.5 installed here any more
so I’ll have to wait ’til I get home to test that.

    Hey Wes

In the project window click on one of those ‘phantom’ clips and then up at the top of the project window (where the clip thumbnail appears) there is a little arrow. Click on that and it will display the sequence that it is in and then you can click on that and it will open that sequence at that clip.

My bet is that you still have some sequences that you haven’t deleted from the project window but only from the timeline window

Thanks for your reply. I checked, and this particular project has only one sequence, and one of the clips that says it is used has no little menu like you describe. Probably just a bug.
