I have a slight problem I was hoping someone would answer..

I started recording our services yesterday.. its about 35min long..
My camera is a 3ccd AVCHD cam

Final cut pro transcode’s avchd into pro res (i think, will need to check)..

so I export the timeline out when I’m done.. then into compressor and transcode to h.264 so I can put on vimeo and youtube..

but the file comes out to be about 10GBs (the pro res file is around 30GB)

what should I do to make the file smaller

Jason, searching either the Compression techniques forum or the Final Cut Pro forum for terms like Compressor, h264, or YouTube should help you find an answer your question.
