    Hi,
I’m under the gun, and I know there’s probably an easy answer to this, but here goes.
I have a simple plane with video mapped to it. The timeline is 8 seconds long, but the plane doesn’t appear until 6 seconds in. The texture is calculating the video from the beginning. Is there an easy way to change the timing of the video? The solution outside C4d is to render the pad in AE. Not a big deal, just wondered if I can change the timing in C4D?

in the attribute manager for the video (in the material) go to the Animation tab and set the Timing to Range.

it will play the video as many loops as you want (dropping frames if necessary) inside that range so if you want it to run at the normal rate make sure the difference between the Range Start and the Range End is the same number of frames in the video.
