    Hi guys,

I have a slight problem, looking at my stills in the time line I see all the still, but in the playback video screen the top and bottom of the still are cut off. I’ve tried using different video templates but I’ve not having much luck. Looking at the still properties I see the media attributes are 960X720X32.I tried a custom video template set at the media attributes but then the right side of the still was cut off slightly, is there a setting I’m supposed to use for this size still?

How do you plan to deliver this video? The final output format will determine what you need to do here since still cameras and video cameras have dimension that don’t match. Depending on your delivery format you may have to live with cropped stills.

If you are trying to match the project to the stills, you must do this BEFORE you drop any stills on the timeline. Otherwise any still that is already on the timeline will not be affected.

So… step 1 start a new project, step 2 match project to still image, step 3 drop a still on the timeline. The entire still image will now be seen in the preview.

It looks like you never closed your mask. In order to define a mask you must end up clicking on the first anchor, (the pen tool will have a small circle just to the right of it.) Then, everything within the mask will be visible (Positive mask) or invisible (Negative mask).
