I own a G5 and FCP. Wanting to set up some kind of switcher for a three to four camera shoot and stream live on the web. Does FCP support any kind switcher? Any ideas on options available for this?
    Thanks, Felipe

You want to be looking at something like: Wirecast (now available from telestream) or
    Boinx software.

These programs are essentially switchers on your desk top. Wirecast goes even further and allows you to
literally go directly to the web.

FCP is not the right tool for this job.

Thanks, I’ll look into both. Nice to get info quick on something that would take me a while to find on my own. Appreciate it.

Wirecast is kinda cool but, if you’re switching sports, it’s not going to work for you; you need a real multiple input video switcher and the output from the switcher will feed the Macintosh.
    FCP will not be involved.
