I just installed FCP 5 my video in the sequence is skipping/strobing ocassionally when playing back when I have the Mirror on Desktop button checked in my A/V settings. If I uncheck this mirror on desktop button in my A/V settings then the video on my NTSC monitor will play perfectly. I would like to be able to mirror my video as I did in 4.5. Any suggestions? I am on my G5 with FCP 5.0.

I also noticed that I don’t have the Blackmagic NTSC – Jpeg (720×486) in FCP 5 as I had in 4.5. Does anyone know why? I think this might be the problem since my sequence is Blackmagic NTSC – Jpeg and my playback output is Blackmagic NTSC – RGB (720×486).

My sequence RT setting is Use Playback setting and I have tried Full quality with no luck as well.

Everything worked great in 4.5 when I could match my sequence with my playback.

    thanks
