    Hi there,

I am doing a video shoot next week for a person putting together online dog training videos. The studio is completely white.

I am new to DSLR video and was reading up on good practice techniques, in particular ‘shooting flat’ in order to get a neutral picture to make the colour correction easier. My question is, does this apply to all video shooting or is this geared mainly for more filmic shooting where grading is more appropriate?

    Any advice would be welcome

    Thanks
    Scott

    All the time.

But you should be more worried about moving animals and focus…
