    I just watched this:
    https://tonyrobbinstraining.com/320/interview-with-frank-kern-and-john-reese/

Pay attention to the first 3-4 minutes. Robins talks, but every 10-30 seconds the scene brakes. This has 2 great advantages over the single 4 minute long take:
    1) It makes watching more interesting.
    2) Technically it is far easier to take good short segments and select the best ones to compose the movie.

I want to try this idea, but I want to ask.
    1) How do you make this nice effect of transition between the segments?
    2) My pieces are from outside. The lighting may differ from take to take. So how can I do color-correction in a way to make all video segments look the same?

    1) The “transition” is just a very quick fade (5 frames or so) to and from black.

    2) Is there a reason the lighting is different?
If you can justify it in your own mind, then don’t worry about it otherwise you’ll go crazy trying to colour correct every single scene.

    2) I was shooting outside, actor sitting on a bench in a forest part. 2-3 different days, the sun and the clowds were changing positions, hence the different lighting.

Is there an easy way to fix this?
