Hello, I have a Canon Optura 50 DV camcorder (NTSC). I usually use mini DV tapes for all video recording; however, during a past event I decided to try out the option to save the video to the SD card (2GB).

When I uploaded the video to my PC and watched it it simply looked horrible. After testing using the tape I found that it seems that video saved to the SD Card is of a lower quality. I browsed through the camera settings but saw no obvious way to define the quality of the video.

Does any one know if I can increase the video quality of the video when I use the SD card option? It seems somewhat illogical that this video would be so grainy just because it is saved to the SD card. Thanks all for your assistance. Salvador
