video quality fader in export in cs6
When exporting in premier pro cs6 for h.264, in basic video settings I can use the slider for my video quality. But what does this slider actually alter. I know what the bit rate adjustment does etc but what is this slider actually altering?

Better quality takes more time but it’ll look better. Lower quality renders faster but it’ll look worse.

Thanks for replying. I can see the basic idea behind this but what I need to know is how is it doing that. For instance with the key frame distance it is reducing the amount of key frames and thus reducing data rich frames. If I reduce the Bit rate I am reducing the amount of info being given to the screen.. so as I know this I can accommodate that when I shoot but as I don’t actually know what this fader is affecting how can I accommodate for this compression when I shoot?
