    hello

I am previewing my work via a black magic declink HD extreme 3 video card to a sony PVM monitor using the component (3 leads) out of the card to the monitor.

I am using the more accurate setting in after effects and the project is standard definition.

The preview image that I am getting on the monitor does’nt look great, the colours are fine but any graphics or video looks blocky (horizontal blocks) and small thin text is barely readable.

Does any one know why this is occuring. I would of thought that the video preview would of been a better reflection of the comp window as this does not occur in FCP.

any help would be much appreciated.

    thanks,

    Neil

Is your viewer resolution set to Full?
