video plays too fast; information already transferred

Try to be more precise, and give as much info as you can – clearly you don’t know yet which bits of it will be important, so include it all.

Sorry for any confusion; first timer posting. The info; HVX200, P2 card, Frame size 960x 720, video rate 29.97fps, shutter 1/60th, compressor DVCPROHD720p60, Data rate 7.2mb/sec., Audio rate 48.0KHz, audio 16 bit.
I hope this is adequate. Thanks again and sorry for the mess.

It sounds as though you are confusing ‘shutter’ with frame rate. Shutter speed has nothing to do with framerate. You’ve recorded 720p30, not 720p60 by the sounds of it.

As David says, read both your other threads.

I had the rate at 720p, and I cannot re-transfer it; the cards have been reformatted.

What? The cards have been reformatted? Dude…bad bad bad. That’s like capturing tape, and erasing the tape. KEEP THAT STUFF. You backup the P2 contents to hard drives at least. Because when stuff like this happens, and it will, as you know, you can always go back to the originals and reimport. Without them…well, you have a mess to deal with.

Already imported…sped up…out of sync…originals gone. That’s a mess. Wish I had the time, and footage that was messed up in the same way, to help out.
