    You need to use a sequence settings that corresponds with your capture cards, and your footage. For example, AJA 1080p24. Or a Matrox or Decklink setting.

    Connect a DVI to HDMI cable on the second output of your video card (I use a GTX 570). With the sequence selected, go to Sequence settings/Playback settings/External device and select the 2nd monitor. Works great on my system.

    Then you use a black magic sequence setting, and switch the video player to Adobe player. Sounds odd, but it is what you do.
