  Video PB on 17″ MBP

  Relatively new to FCP so I apologize if this is dopey.
  Running FCP 7.0.3 on a new 17″ with a Dell 24″ monitor as the main work monitor.
  I’d like to use the 17″ MBP screen for viewing of 4:3 sequence.

  Under AV settings I set Digital Cinema Desktop Preview. I set VIEW/External Video to ALL.

  The image fills the screen, stretching out to the sides.
  Pixels are square in the sequence settings.
  Does this stretching always occur? Should I be going about this another way?
