video pane in vegas shows whats looks to be corrupt footage
I am working in Vegas 12. When working on a video and previewing it (whether it is footage OR photos)the preview plays back as if the data is corrupt. Popping back to previous footage, holding a photo up AND behind other photos, almost “static” like. The data is totally fine AND when I render the video as an MPEG or a WMV it is fine and plays well. I just CANT edit with the preview window “showing” me bad footage… Can anyone advise?

Are you trying to preview in ‘Best Full’? Knock the preview quality back so your computer doesn’t have to struggle to keep up. Usually ‘Preview Auto’ should do it. (Top of your preview window.)
