Video on web

I have a client who wants to sell his house, so he wants to video it then put a dvd together showing all rooms. He also want a web version so his clients can walk throught the house. Is this possible. Thanks inadvance

wmv or .mp4 are the typical best formats for the web.
If you’re putting on YouTube or Vimeo, then .mp4 is the best solution.
If acquired in HD, export as 1280×720@10mbps. You’ll be very happy.
If acquired in SD, export(render) as 640×360@6mbps. You’ll be very happy.Douglas Spotted Eagle

April 19, 2010 at 7:36 pmI’ve tried all sorts of formats for rendering to the web and I’ve found that rendering an MP4 format using the “Apple IPod 640×480 video” template works best for me.
YouTube will allow the video but it can’t be longer than 10 minutes.

I would put it on it’s own channel on Vimeo. I will be shooting in HD. Is there a way to have a menu where you viewer can jump to a different room? Thanks

April 19, 2010 at 9:58 pmNo way to put chapters or the like on Vimeo that I know of. I didn’t think Vimeo allowed for commercial videos either.

I’ve done a test from a wedding and put it on my Channel on Vimeo i rendered as Sony AV, Internet 16:9 HD 30p, Bit Rate(bps) is 6,000,000. Here is the cliphttps://vimeo.com/channels/71164
