Video On Demand keeping Nielsen encoding/CC intact
Hello to all,
Not sure where to go for help on this so I’m starting here. 🙂
The nationally syndicated TV shows I edit are Nielsen encoded and Closed Captioned. I deliver the shows to a post house and prior to pitching the shows to TV stations the post house does the Nielsen encoding and Closed Captioning. We are going to start making the shows available online on our website the last 2 weeks of each episode run and want to keep the Nielsen encoding and Closed Captioning intact.
Does anyone have a workflow or suggestions of the best way to do this? We have a pro account with Vimeo and it was suggested to host the files on Vimeo. I’m open to any and all suggestions.
The post house has provided me with the Nielsen/Closed Captioned file which is MPEG/10gigs. 52 minutes
