video not playing
Dear members,
I was working with a CS6 (DV avi PAL) project for last few days. Today, premiere is not playing the video in timeline.. It’s working while scrubbing, but If I played the video, it stills in the current position, but audio plays smoothly.,Time code too remains the same. I had the same problem before, But I fixed it by updating premiere. And now there is no any new updates from adobe. I manually downloaded latest updates and installed same. It helped once, But again same issue…Please help… -

I am having this issue, although it involves EVERYTHING (video, audio, still images, etc.). Basically I can scrub through, as you say, but playback fails on its own. Just sits there. And SPACE will change the playback button to PLAY but not to STOP.
What hardware do you have?

For capturing from DV tape, I’m using Pinnacle capture card. I fixed the problem by restarting the system after installing same latest 6.0.3 updates. I manually downloaded it from their site. I already did 3-4 times in 2 weeks, and it’s really annoying.
