Video Not Going to DVD.
I’m currently attempting to burn my video on to DVD. It’s not working.
Usually, when I am exporting a video, it’s two minutes maximum. Then, it works just fine. But now, the video is 17 minutes long. When I try to put it on to a DVD, Premiere says that it’s transponding (is that the right word?) forever. The bar goes up to a certain point, and fairly quickly, at that, but once it gets to that certain point, it stops. I’ve left it going for probably two hours, too, but to no avail.
Unfortunately, this video is due tomorrow morning (actually today morning if you want to be technical–in fact, in two hours), so I won’t be able to do it like I want. Instead, I’ll have to (sigh) put it on to MiniDV tape and then to VHS.
But anyway, why is it not working completely? Is Premiere’s DVD Exporting just plain bad? Is there something that can fix it?

Have you downloaded the latest version of the MainConcept encoder: https://www.mainconcept.com/adobemedia/downloads.html
And the Microsoft patch: https://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=886716&SD=tech

I have installed the Encoder update and the hotfix for WinXP. I rebooted after the installs. But when I opened up PPro 1.0 again, the MPG encorder for DVD are gone. Only the WindowsMedia and RealPlayer are left. Any ideas on how to get this back? This is under File->Export->encoder…
