From my own experience and reading about this issue, here are several remedies you can try in progressive steps:

1) Determine your edition of Microsoft’s .NET Framework . I installed the latest and continue in keeping up to date with. If you’re not confident working at this level then rather start from 2) . Check result.

2) Ensure you have the latest Build. If not install. Check result.

3) Factory Reset. Check result.

4) Reinstall. Check result.

I’m hoping 1) above should do it. It did for me. But you do it at your own risk. If you are not confident then rather start from 2).

This usually happens when you set the DPI on your Windows fonts beyond 100%. Have you set the DPI on your Windows fonts to anything other than the default (100%)? Messing with Windows fonts and DPI is the usual cause for windows being cut off like that. The other is graphics card drivers.
