    Hi there-
I can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing wrong. I’m making a comp using a video clip. After I export and bring it into FCP it looks brighter than the original clip. Basically I have the clip in FCP up to a certain point, then halfway through it switches over to the AE clip and you can see a shift in color. It happens whether I use DV, Uncompressed, Animation whatever. What is After Effects doing to my video clips?
    Thanks,
    Jessica

This is a known color space issue: AE processes in RGB, while FCP processes in YUV.

Until these two kids process in the same color space, we need to tweak the colors manually. Search the COW for “RGB” and “YUV” and you should find more info on the matter.

    Yep, it’s annoying.

Wow, thanks for the advice. It’s what I thought but wasn’t sure, I will work around the issue.
    Thanks!
