So, somehow I find myself with the job of getting lighting for small video productions. We already have a nice video camera and when I mentioned we could use some lights, I was told to go find some. We are going to shoot very small 30 second to 2 minute product demonstrations and small, “Kids playing with our product” type ads for youtube, Amazon and the like. The toy company I work for is really set on creating our own video. (So please don’t recommend we hire someone)

So, since I have a budget of under $2000 (Probably should keep it under $1500), I was thinking of Videssence Triple Fixture Shooter Kit Price: $1,269.50.

The real reason I am writing this is to advice I what I should look for, questions I should ask, things I should think about, etc. Any advice will be a huge help!

    THanks!

We use Videssence and like them, a little cheaper than kinoflo but I think just as good.

Did you see the thread just below yours?

Just read it. Thanks. Big help. I’ll probably go with the Videssence.
