Ok so i have looked all over creative cow. Haven’t found an answer and hoping someone can help me out.

I created multiple video layers shown here… https://vimeo.com/20685355

This was my first cut on this piece. I knew i needed to fix the bordered and line up the boxes better.

I went back in and started from scratch to re do it all and replace some shots. However, now when i render the project layers just vanish?! I tried to dump the render files and re-render, but still nothing works.

Its driving me insane, I’ve tried all kinda of solutions. I’m really hoping i don’t have to export the layers non cropped. I know if i un-crop some of the shots they continue to say in place.

Please for the love of god does anyone know how to fix this problem or work around it?!!!!!!

    thanks guys,

    -Chris

There’s no compelling problem in FCP that would cause the problem you’re experiencing. Have you tried trashing preferences or simply copying and pasting all clips to a new sequence?

I tried to copy and paste, and no didn’t work.

I’ll try trashing the preferences and see what happens. However I have a feeling I’ll be going thru the process of exporting layers and re cropping them again!
