Video is not the same after rendering
Posted by William Edeving on May 31, 2018 at 12:14 pmI made a video in sony vegas 14 and used some motion tracking on png files. However, after rendering the video all the pictures was misplaced. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The Track motion is is placed on a clip or is it applied on the timeline?

May 31, 2018 at 10:43 pmMake a new folder and place all your files only used in this project along with the project file.
(This new folder must not be on an external drive).
Now start up your project anew from this new folder and do your rendering.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

What was your preview Window quality set to while editing? I’m guessing that it was set to the default preview setting Preview (Auto).
Unfortunately, editing is not very accurate at the Preview(Auto) setting and rendering always uses the Best (Full) setting so if you are doing very exact placement with motion tracking, you need to edit with Best (Full) as well.
Change the preview to Best (Full) and playback the timeline. You should see the same problems as the rendered video. If so, you need to redo the motion tracking using Best (Full) setting.
