Hello, what i would do is open the power point, press Save As and change from ppt to JPEG (now each slide is a JPEG in its folder).
Now, switching to Sony Vegas.
We need 2 video tracks created
track #1 move the power point JPEG slides too
track #2 move the video of the speaker too
Once done, you should only see the power point slides covering the video of the speaker.
On the buttons for track #1 look for track motion and click it. It will bring up a window. Move that window around so you can see the preview window. Take one of the corners of the gray outlined box and scale it down to your desired size. You should see it that what you are doing is effecting you preview window. Click and hold on the inside of the gray box and move it to the desired location, while still looking at the preview.
