Created a 3D movie reel in 3Dmax and Adobe Premier – having a hard time integrating real video footage into the 3D reels themselves optimally. I have a Quicktime footage file that is 320 by 240 resolution and when it is imported into the reels the resolution of the video trailer is not good.

How do I import video footage so that it looks good in the trailer overall?

    Thx

Do your compositing in 3Dmax, not PPro. How to accomplish that is best asked in a 3Dmax forum, but in essence you would read each frame of the QuickTime clip and display it on a simple quad or equivalent surface.

Can I email you a link to my video?

    That won’t help. I don’t know how to use 3DMax. 😉
