Video install questions..
hey, (not sure if this is best forum to post in, but its closest i’ve found)
i am helping out at a church and for our youth events, we are looking at buying some new equipment. first, we are talking about using 1 macbook pro with 2 mac minis loaded with Pro Video Player (www.provideoplayer.com). we will use these on our three screens, with each mac running the video backgrounds for each. we use propresenter for our lyrics. for each screen, we must have the ability to key out the black or whatever background we are using in propresenter to overlay on each of these screens.
is the best way to do that buy three pretty simple switchers, maybe some edirol lvs-400’s – we already have one, and then use the v-link to set them up so that one person can control the switching of all screens????
i just cannot figure out a better way to do it than that.
please, we need some more ideas. maybe if there is a better way than using 3 switchers total, that would save some money for us which is a good thing!

Do you want THREE video screens with THREE DIFFERENT sources of video?
Or THREE video screens with all the SAME SINGLE source of video?
Please explain.
