    Hi, everyone.
I am using Avid Xpress Pro V5.6.3.
Here is my problem: the footage in composer window doesn’t move when i play, but directly jump to the last frame when i stop. However, when i drag with my mouse on the timeline, the footage moves.
My display card ia nvidia nvs 135m, and after i updated the display card driver to a newer 163.71 version, it seems that the problem was solved. However, when i restart my computer and Avid again, the same problem happened. It only works properly right after I installed the display card driver, but not next time.
What is the problem? Please help me……

Did you completely uninstall the previous driver before you installed the new one? You should go to your Control Panel and uninstall all nVidia graphics drivers, reboot, install the new drivers, reboot, then try to launch Avid. If you didn’t uninstall the old drivers it may be still trying to read those on reboots.

    Michael.

Thank you, Michael. I do uninstall the previous one, but the problem still exists. Later i find out that it is a conflict between Avid and my video player, KMPlayer. When i open the KMPlayer, the problem will occur.
    Thank you all the same.
