Video in clip plays, but suddenly goes.black while audio continues.
Clip played fine at first. Then, next day, the clip played, but the video dropped out – just played black – always in the same place. I can skim in the clip and the video is there, throughout the entire clip. When I export the project the video drops goes black in the same place. I tried re- linking the clip, but same result. It’s not a compound clip. I ran Disk Warrior and repaired permissions. Neither helped. Any ideas about what’s happening would be appreciated.

I’d try deleting the render files, peaks data, and thumbnails in the event or project.
