Video Import Trouble
Hello all, new hear but so far impressed by the wealth of knowledge so thought I’d throw a problem your way…
I’m using Audition 2 to sync home recorded sounds to home edited video and I’m having a hell of time getting Audition to accept the video. Basically, for a uni project I’ve ripped an NTSC version of “American Werewolf in London” then had an editing friend cut it to 30 mins with Final Cut Pro on his Mac. He has then converted this file to PAL and provided me with the following files: an AVI version coded with DivX, an MPG version and most recently a WMV. The first two files import but only the audio track appears and the third one imports fine but has serious horizontal lines across it.
I’m hoping that someone here can tell me if there is a definite codec and format pair that will work with Audition 2?!

Tell your friend to export as lossless avi, (No compression).
