  • Video has Interlaced edges after rendering

I have a two part question. I just captured all my footage. I haven’t moved any footage or opened or closed any seq’s but when I place my footage into the timeline I have to render everything. In addition, after I render everything it has large interlaced edges. The interlaced edges are not on the source footage on my hard drive. I did a test and saved my footage out as a QuickTime and it still looks very interlaced

You have to create a new sequence using the same easy set up you used to capture ytour footage, and that hsould take care of the rendering.

what format is your footage and what easy set up are you using?

    Thank you,

I had to Capture the footge with the Uncontrollable setting. The person how shot it had tons of timecode breaks. However I still see some small interlacing when playing back the footage in the canvas. Is this just the natur of my DV footage and just run Magic Bullet or do I have have something else wrong in my settings?

You are watching interlaced video on a non-interlaced display, so of course you are going to see interlacing on your computer monitor. Monitor your video through your capture card or camera on a video monitor and it should look fine.
