Video Green Screen Problem! NOT NEWBIE ! Searched but no answer!
Sorry for my English, I am not a native speaker.
First I want to start by saying that whenever I encounter a problem, I search very much to find a solution to it online. To this day I have never posted on any forum about anything because always I could find something online, even to very difficult problems. I also try to help others when they ask me about something in Video or Photography. But now I really need your help! I’ve searched but apparently I cannot describe my problem in a very specific way so that Google can help me.
I work with video and photos for many years, but I have not much experience in Green Screen keying. I have done some videos with this technique with sucess, but a few days ago I did a shoot and I encountered the following problem. Take a look at the screen shot.

The tablet’s glass reflects the green screen and it gets removed when I key it. I dont want it removed. I actually want to select the green color inside the tablet’s surface and desaturate it so it become grayish. See the screenshot

I know I can do it manually, frame by frame, in Photoshop Video mode but is there a way I can do it better, and consume less time? I am looking for a way to key out selective parts of the image like with non contigious selection in Photoshop. See the following screenshot.

Unfortunately you’re in a tough situation. While your background isn’t too bad, it has a fair number of creases, highlights and shadows. Therefore you’re keying out a pretty wide range of green values. That screen reflection is so close that it’s almost sure to be keyed completely out. If you had a near perfectly lit green screen you may be able to differentiate. So you’re solution is pretty much frame by frame, more or less. If you have After Effects you could try the trackers to keep a mask over the screen with less work or maybe the rotobrush tool.
