    Hi Everybody,

any idea how this effects was achieved of duplicating George Michael and Mary J Blige?
Was it a Robo Cam, going th exact same path again and again and then heavy Rotoscoping?
Any idea or hint would be appreciated.

Possibly some motion control camera work, definitely a lot of greenscreening and some very very heavy-duty compositing, probably with Flame or Inferno.

Now, George Michael’s beard is a completely different special effect altogether.

The whip pans hide cutting to new setups, but yes it look like motion control camera and a hell of a lot of rotoscoping. OTOH, don’t ALL the people that go to those kind of clubs dress pretty much alike already?:-)

I found the effect more creepy than cool.

It is motion control rigs+roto+compositing as previously stated.Starting at 2:10 you can see spacial errors as same people occupy the same space.
