i was wondering if you could make a glint effect or a volumetric light effect that could shine from behind a 3d object (ie text), and how?
if not, which program would i be able to combine an animation from Pro Animator and this other program.

here is an example of what i’m talking about

(1st vid under the ProAnimator examples)

    thanks,

    Hi Rocco,

People often apply lighting effects like Trapcode Shine to ProAnimator and Invigorator movies to get that “light rays from behind” kind of effect. Typically, After Effects is the hosts for that.

If you don’t have AE, your editor may accept a plug-in that creates a similar effect.

    Does this help?

    Hi Rocco,
You may find this tutorial I did for Red Giant useful. It shows how to add various lighting effects to a Zaxwerks ProAnimator logo inside Final Cut Pro:
